Heather Ross Meet and Greet!

Hello! I am SO excited to let you know that Heather Ross, the fabric designer, is coming to Luminous Threads on Thursday! I am beside myself! She is one of my absolute FAVORITE designers. Kristin squealed when I told her that Heather was coming. If you don't know who she is you can check out her fabric by clicking on the link below:

I know that this is short notice, but I wouldn't want anyone to miss out on the opportunity to meet someone so sweet and talented. Heather just happened to stop by the store today. I am so glad that I was there working a little late. I hope you can make it. We'll have refreshments and Heather will be talking about her new book and two new fabrics lines coming out in the Spring. She might even do a sewing demo or something-- it'll be a suprise.

So here are the official details:
WHO: Heather Ross, fabric designer
WHAT: Meet and Greet
WHEN: Thursday, Sept. 20 at 1p.m.
WHERE: Luminous Threads

Customer Creations

This adorable hat was made by Jill Sanders. The pattern and yarn are both available at the store. Jill has been preparing for the Santa Cruz County fair and has made the most beautiful entry. I will post it here once the fair starts-- don't want to ruin the surprise!
This wonderful sweater was made by Sue Showers. Both the yarn and pattern are available at the store. Sue has been busy knitting and sewing lately. If you see her at the store, you should ask to take a look at her "grocery bag pattern" bags. They are amazing!
This is another wonderful creation by Sophy. She crocheted it using "Softy" by Berocco. I think that the model looks slightly familiar......hmmmmm(c;
