Devan and Her New Quilt!

I just had to share a photo of my little friend Devan and the quilt I finished for her this weekend. She loves it! Quilting is so fun, and easier than it looks! Giving a quilt to a child you love is so rewarding. It's something they'll see every day and think of you. If you have been thinking about taking a quilting class at the shop, let us know! Luminous Threads Boutique has been so lucky to be blessed with the presence of so many mothers and daughters who share a love of crafting! Erica and Dietra took a crochet class together and are shown here making their "Granny Squares". Clara and her mom Christina are learning how to sew handbags together, from fabrics and sewing patterns they each chose themselves.
